Enrichment is a significant and important part of the overall curriculum at Ashton on Mersey Sixth Form. Enrichment enhances the important skills and personal qualities that employers and Universities are looking for and also develops a more ‘rounded’ student.
Life at Ashton on Mersey Sixth Form isn’t just about classroom time and working towards your chosen course of study. It’s about broadening your mind, taking on new challenges, meeting new people and having fun with a full and comprehensive enrichment programme. All students are expected to select an area of personal development and community work throughout the Years 12 and 13.

ICT – Skills development
All students will need to have at least a basic understanding of how to use and how to access resources for their studies. Moreover, given the volume of information available they need evaluative skills in order to select the most appropriate resources for their programme. This unit gives you that.
