On the 12 January 2016 Microsoft will be removing support (including security updates) for some of their older browsers.
The security of our users is of paramount importance to us.
We are no longer able to support browsers containing known security flaws that may compromise our customers’ security and users’ data.
Using the latest internet browser helps keep you safer online and allows you to benefit from the latest ParentPay features.
What do you need to do?
A small proportion of parents currently use a browser that will no longer be supported by ParentPay.
Most parents will not need to take action, but before 11 January 2016, we strongly advise you check your browser version against our list of supported browsers.
If required, please take action and update your browser.
We recommend using the latest available, but as a minimum you’ll need to update to a version that is supported.Please check the guidance below.
Failure to use a supported browser will mean that you will be unable to login to ParentPay.

It’s usually easy to update your browser by visiting the website of your browser provider and downloading from there.
Some browsers allow you to update from the browser menu.
What else is changing for parents?
Based on your feedback, we’re planning a range of improvements and new features to make paying by ParentPay quicker, easier and more convenient.
Soon you’ll need to use an email address as your username.
Towards the end of January, if you need to switch your username to an email address, you will be prompted when you login – just follow the on-screen instructions.
The email address must be verified, helping with security and making it easier to reset a forgotten password.
If you already have a registered email address linked to your Account, you’ll have the option to use it as your username or choose an alternative email address.
New ParentPay.com website
We’re making major improvements to the ParentPay website, making it easier for parents to access a dedicated support area with FAQs and lots of useful tips.

Introducing ‘My Account’
Providing greater flexibility in managing payments ‘My Account’ lets parents maintain a single balance in ParentPay and use it to pay for any items at any of their children’s schools.
You’ll be able to move money between children and different items and refunds from school will credit immediately back to ‘My Account’for you to use for something else.
‘My Account’leads the way for us to introduce new ways for parents to pay.
