Students can apply for support for tuition fees which does not depend on household income and is paid directly to the university. Depending upon household income, students can also apply for a Maintenance Loan.
Many universities and colleges offer their own bursaries and scholarships to students. You should visit their websites or contact the universities direct to find out what they can offer.
Your Maintenance Loan will be paid directly into your bank account in three installments throughout the year. Your first payment will be released once you have registered with your University or College and your attendance has been confirmed.
If you applied online, you will receive a Student Finance Entitlement letter. You need to sign and return the declaration form right away for your application to be approved.
